Families, educators, and other professionals are invited to attend a one-day workshop geared toward supporting students who have a Neurological Visual Impairment. Participants will learn:
- How to recognize the visual behaviors of students across all three phases of Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI)
- Guiding principles for intervention and program planning
- How to determine interventions that include literacy, math, and daily routines
Participants are strongly encouraged to bring a laptop to the workshop; it will be used to look up resources.
This workshop will be presented by MDE-LIO’s CVI Team. SCECHs are pending.
