MDE-LIO would like to announce two new additions to our team, Heather Jeffrey and Karrie Bowen. Jeffrey fills MDE-LIO’s secretary role, and Bowen is an Instructional Materials Center (IMC) assistant.
Heather Jeffrey
Heather Jeffrey comes to MDE-LIO after nearly 25 years at Sparrow Medical Supply within the Sparrow Health System. There, Jeffrey served as a provider relations representative for several years before becoming supervisor of the Customer Service Phone Intake and Quality Assurance teams. At MDE-LIO, Jeffrey will be handling a variety of administrative and logistical tasks that help make our office run smoothly.
Karrie Bowen
Before joining MDE-LIO, Karrie Bowen worked in the healthcare field for the past ten years, scheduling general and cardiothoracic surgeries. Prior to working in healthcare, Bowen worked with children in a home childcare center and served as a nanny for several families. As an IMC assistant, Bowen supports everything from braille and enlarged-print book production to preparing books and materials to loan.
