If you have not yet experienced Child in a Strange Country, make sure to visit the exhibit soon—the last day to attend is May 20, 2016.

Child in a Strange Country: Helen Keller and the History of Education for People Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired, a traveling exhibit created by the Museum of the American Printing House for the Blind, is currently installed in the Michigan Historical Center and Library in Lansing.

Through Child in a Strange Country, visitors can explore various tools used by students who are blind or have a visual impairment to learn math, reading, science, and geography. The traveling exhibit is sponsored by MDE-LIO, the American Printing House for the Blind, and other agencies.
