Description

What does life after high school look like for our 18+ students with cortical/cerebral visual impairment (CVI)? Learn about resources and tools to help ease students' transition to adult life.

In this webinar series, participants will meet, network, and connect with other school personnel and families who are working with students who have CVI. Each session will include a presentation and time for questions and conversation. The sessions will be presented by MDE-LIO Education Consultant Sara Cruchelow along with other school personnel working in the field.

Audience

This webinar series is for school personnel working with students who have cortical/cerebral visual impairment.

Required Technology

This event will be conducted online via Zoom; participants do not need to have Zoom, but they must have internet access and a computer with a camera.

Online Event Expectations

Participants are expected to be respectful and courteous to others during this event. MDE-LIO reserves the right to mute, turn off video, and/or remove participants who do not adhere to this expectation.

Accommodations

It is important for participants to request accessibility accommodations at least three weeks prior to the event. Outside agencies MDE-LIO contracts with to provide accommodations cannot guarantee services if requests are made in less than three weeks.
