Specialist/Consultant, Eaton RESA

Description: Under the general direction of the Related Services Supervisor, and in accordance with the established policies and procedures of Eaton RESA, the Specialist/Consultant – DHH will provide direct and consultative services for students who are DHH enrolled in regular or special education programs to facilitate the student's needs in their educational program.

Certification/Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan teaching certificate with approval as a teacher for DHH.

  • Full approval as a Teacher Consultant for DHH or meet the criteria for Specialist for DHH.

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in special education with an endorsement in DHH.

  • Desired: Master’s degree in special education with an endorsement in DHH and three years or more satisfactory teaching experience as a teacher of DHH.
