Convergence Insufficiency

Convergence Insufficiency is a near-vision problem that affects 10 to 15 percent of the U.S. population. As with other visual diagnoses, a diagnosis of Convergence Insufficiency in and of itself does not guarantee that a child will meet the criteria under the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education for visual impairment, R 340.1708.
