Looking for a fun family event? Come to Camp Tuhsmeheta for the day, or stay overnight! This fun-filled event, for children who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) of all ages and their families, will offer recreational activities such as hiking along nature trails, canoeing, swimming, arts and crafts, enjoying campfires, and more! Participants will also enjoy a visit from John Ball Zoo's traveling wildlife exhibit. American Sign Language interpreters will be provided.
Meet and chat with adults who are DHH (“DHH Guides” from Michigan Hands & Voices), roast a marshmallow or two, spend some time hiking, or just relax and enjoy the company of family and friends.
This is a great opportunity to learn from and network with other parents and children who are DHH in a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere!
