Description

Literacy is one of the Top 10 focus areas for educators and learners in Michigan. Supporting the unique needs of students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) often requires expertise from additional professionals. From language acquisition to literacy strategies, this webinar will explore the fundamentals of literacy development for all learners with a DHH provider lens.

This webinar has been approved for 1.0 SCECH credit.

Audience

This webinar series is for adult family members and school personnel working with students in Michigan who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Online Event Expectations

Participants are expected to be respectful and courteous to others during this event. MDE-LIO reserves the right to mute, turn off video, and/or remove participants who do not adhere to this expectation. Attendees must also be able to log into and participate in this event individually. This event is not conducive to group participation.
