Description
The internet is overflowing with resources, but how do you navigate finding the right ones? Join MDE-LIO and Michigan Hands & Voices as we explore resources to support children who are Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard of Hearing. Building your knowledge will empower you to be an informed partner on your child’s educational team.
Each event in the series will focus on a specific topic. During the first half of each session, we will explore three to four resources. The second half will be an open forum for participants to share their experiences with the resources, share other helpful resources they have found, and ask questions.
This session will highlight how to navigate communication opportunities, foster communication development, and support effective communication in a variety of settings.
Audience
These sessions are for adult family members raising children who are Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard of Hearing.
