Description
Families are shaped by their unique experiences, including different cultures, heritage, dynamics, structures, languages, and resources. Families on the journey of raising young children, ages 0-3, who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH), may seek or benefit from additional supports and/or experiences. Early involvement requires a different set of tools and resources to support not only the child, but the goals and needs of the family. This half-day workshop will highlight how you can support families throughout this process.
This workshop has been approved for 2.5 SCECHs.
Alternate Option
This workshop will also be held at Washtenaw Intermediate School District on January 19, 2024. To register, visit A Peek Inside Early Involvement: Washtenaw. Please register for only one workshop.
Audience
This workshop is for school personnel supporting students in Michigan who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH), ages 0-3.
