This two-part series will feature Dr. Lotfi B. Merabet, OD, PhD, MPH, as he discusses the human brain/visual system and neuroplasticity associated with visual impairment (part 1) and assessing visual processing deficits in cerebral/cortical visual impairment (CVI) using virtual reality and brain imaging (part 2). Dr. Merabet is an associate professor of ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and an optometrist at Massachusetts Eye and Ear.
This workshop has been approved for 3.0 SCECHs.
This workshop will be held on October 10 and October 17 from 2:30 - 4 p.m. each day.
This workshop is for school personnel and family members who work with students who have CVI.
This workshop will be conducted online via Zoom; participants do not need to have Zoom, but they must have internet access and a computer with a camera.
