MAY152025

This year, the Michigan Department of Education Resource for Blind/Low Vision hosted three exciting Michigan Regional Braille Challenge events, drawing more than 30 participants in grades 1 through 12. Students demonstrated their skills in braille reading comprehension, spelling, proofreading, charts and graphs, and speed and accuracy. Beyond the competition, they built friendships and formed lasting connections.
We’re thrilled to announce that two outstanding contestants from Michigan have qualified for Braille Challenge Finals. They will compete alongside 48 other top students from across North America:
- Varsity: Maria
- Varsity: Susanna
We wish you the best of luck at finals on June 26-29 in Los Angeles, California!
