MDE-LIO is pleased to unveil our new website! It’s been four years since our last redesign, and we knew we wanted to make a few changes to the site structure in addition to getting a sleeker look. We also wanted to update the information we share on our site.

Last year, we requested feedback from our stakeholders on how we could improve the website. They indicated that they liked having separate sections for Blind/Visually Impaired and Deaf/Hard of Hearing information, but it often took several clicks to get to the information they wanted. Stakeholders also mentioned that they would like the website to be more user-friendly and inviting.

The website offers several new features:

  • Early childhood resources
  • Resource libraries full of books and other materials that may be loaned for eight weeks
  • A more robust news section with event recaps, product highlights, and other updates
  • A Family Support section with family-specific updates each month
  • And more!

If you have any feedback or questions about our new website, please email outreach@mdelio.org.

Our website is a work in progress. We’re off to a great start, but we’ll continue working on even more new features in the upcoming months. Stay tuned!
