Plenty of winter outdoor activities are still planned at Camp Tuhsmeheta (Camp T), but as the days grow longer and the weather gets warmer, the urge to go outside increases. Spring and summer planning starts now. Camp T offers a ton of family fun, at a minimal cost, to bond together and make memories.

While most of Camp T's family fun takes place outdoors, goalball is an indoor sport that is gaining popularity with students who are Blind or Visually Impaired (BVI). Camp T’s Oak Recreation Center is a great venue for introducing campers to goalball and helping them build athletic skills for playing the game. Several Paralympic goalball players and amateur players are former Camp T campers and staff, and they have been thrilled to pass on the love of the sport to others. Likewise, campers have quickly embraced the sport, which uses their capabilities in a competitive environment. With a facility designed for goalball and the support of current players, Camp T is fostering future athletes and aspiring Paralympians!

Camp T always looks forward to hosting many school groups, birding events, and Family Nature Club events. The whole idea is to get outdoors, enjoy nature, and be active!
