Family Adventure Day at Camp T
January 30, 2016
Families will love this wintertime “Adventure Day” at Camp Tuhsmeheta. We will offer expanded core curriculum activities for students and their families in a fun and relaxed setting.
The theme for the day is “Warming Up at Camp T.” Activities are designed for the whole family with a special focus on outdoor recreation and leisure (snowshoes, sleds, fire-building, and s’mores). Lunch, which families can help make, will be provided!
Family Camp Weekend
June 17-19, 2016
Family Camp Weekend is an opportunity for families to spend time together, learn about expanded core curriculum activities, and enjoy the great outdoors.
Partnering with the Michigan Parents of Children with Visual Impairments (MPVI), Michigan Department of Education-Low Incidence Outreach (MDE-LIO) is excited to provide this second annual Family Camp Weekend.
Families will meet new friends, spend time outside, and have opportunities to learn practical skills they can take back home and use right away.
Explorer Summer Camp
August 15-20, 2016
Middle and high school students will love spending time at summer overnight camp!
If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering for one or more of these events, please contact MDE-LIO. We rely on our strong network of volunteers to help make events possible!
