Ballyland Code 3: Pick Up

This app builds on the skills from the previous two Ballyland Code apps. In Coding Challenge 3, you need to move Wheelie around the digital game grid. Includes audio-based coding: built-in speech, accessible coding interface, audio description, fun and meaningful sound effects, audio and visual (animated) on-screen coding output, mini audio-play. Gestures: Finger drag, flick left/right with one finger, flick down/up with one finger, double tap, flick left with three fingers.
ChooseIt! Science
ChooseIt! Science has a simple and consistent presentation, clear language, switch accessibility, and full audio support. This app contains more than 160 activities with more than 3,000 pages of simple multiple-choice activities. Code Jumper
Code Jumper is a physical programming language designed to teach fundamental programming concepts to students ages 7-11. Designed for students who are Blind/Visually Impaired, Code Jumper includes a physical kit, which includes a hub, pods, and other tools. Students will use flexibility and computational thinking as they experiment, predict, question, and practice fundamental programming concepts in a concrete and tangible way. Makey Makey
Makey Makey, created by two students at MIT Media Lab, offers easy-to-use invention kits that teach science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts. The Makey Makey Classic, STEM Pack, and Makey Makey GO kits allow tinkerers, dreamers, and makers the mobility to invent anytime, anywhere. The website also provides music and games.
VO Lab
Learn the basics of VoiceOver for use with an iOS device. VO Lab is an educational iPad game designed for people who are Blind/Visually impaired to learn touch gestures and concepts of VoiceOver, Apple’s built-in screen reader for iOS devices.
Bumper Cars
Touch either of the bumper cars or press one of your switches to try to knock the other car off the screen. Encourages counting up to 10. Targets also encourage locating skills. Clear, bright graphics on a dark screen with great sound effects. Two switches needed.

Touch Trainer
Touch Trainer is a simple cause-and-effect app designed for students learning about touch-screen technology. It teaches single finger fine motor skills as well as cause and effect. The app plays music and shows a simple animation whenever a button is tapped. The button gets progressively smaller as the app moves through the levels to easily teach individuals how to use a touch screen. For iPad and iPhone.
