Students and their families are invited to participate in Tools for Transition: Get Smart About Your Future, a workshop designed to provide skills and tools that will help students be more successful in a postsecondary training program or employment after high school. The event is a collaboration between MDE-LIO, the Bureau of Services for Blind Persons (BSBP), and the Braille and Talking Book Library (BTBL).

Sessions will be available for both students and parents. Topics include:
- Apps that will come in handy when looking for a job or heading off to college.
- How to receive accommodations for postsecondary education or work.
- How to support your student after high school.
- How to transfer Social Security benefits to a student.
